After the launch of the highly successful AM 121 Daily Activity Monitor, the concept has been take to another level in a compact size. The AM 121 E, Compact Daily Activity Monitor .  

AM 121 E is the next generation in physical activity monitors based on the latest medical research. 

The new AM 121 E; 3-Axes daily activity monitor is the newest addition to Tanita's 3-axes activity monitor line. In addition to its 24 hour activity graph, the AM 121 E features a calorie counter, and showing your personal daily Total Energy Expenditure (TEE) and Activity-related Energy Expenditure (AEE) in an hourly basis.

This motivational tool is perfect to encourage users to increase their activity levels. It clearly demonstrates METS (Metabolic Equivalent of Task), steps and the number of calories burned based on their BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate). The information is ideal to demonstrate to users their energy expenditure throughout the day, on an hourly basis whether it is walking, gardening, reading or even playing with kids! 

All the results are stored for 14 days allowing the user to see their progress over 2 weeks. The high-tech accelerometer technology used in the AM-121E has been shown in tests to give results highly and significantly correlated with energy expenditure calculated using Weir's equation (VO2 and VCO2 measurement).
